Ford CEO Jim Farley to Discuss Ford+ Plan for Growth This June
Ford recently reported that the company’s President and CEO Jim Farley is scheduled to take part in a fireside chat with technology analyst Toni Sacconaghi. The discussion will be held at the Alliance Bernstein 38th Annual Strategic Decisions Conference on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. ET.
The plan is for Farley to discuss how the company is evolving through the Ford+ plan into an industry leader in our new era of digital electric vehicles. This evolution includes making bold moves to put the company at the head of the industry for EV innovation– on behalf of customers and itself. He plans to show how Ford is creating vehicles as software platforms that provide drivers with unmatched customer experiences while unlocking new growth and recurring revenue opportunities for the industry.
Ford Pro’s new cutting-edge features are numerous, but Ford Telematics may steal the show in terms of utility for business owners. It’s even designed to work on Ford and non-Ford vehicles alike so that customers can leverage the benefits of the software across their entire vehicle fleet, which further incentivizes businesses to switch to EVs in the years to come.
Ford Pro is also helping government agencies and businesses of all sizes help address the urgency of climate change and better contribute to speeding up the transition toward a sustainable future by showing them the clear advantages of an electric ecosystem. Ford Pro recently launched relationships with industry leaders on sustainability such as United Rentals, Penske Truck Leasing and Sunbelt Rentals.
A webcast of the conversation between Jim Farley will be available at shareholder.ford.com. For people who are unable to listen to the live webcast, there will be a replay on the same site soon after the event.
