2021 Ford Expedition Named “Most Satisfying Large SUV” By Consumer Reports

Over the last few months, Consumer Reports has been hard at work collecting data from its 2020 automotive surveys, which encompasses the experiences consumers have had with around 369,000 different vehicles.
 

The latest report from Consumer Reports is the Most Satisfying Cars and Least Satisfying Cars list, which is designed to indicate whether or not a consumer is likely to purchase the same vehicle again. When it comes to large SUVs, no model performed better than the 2021 Ford Expedition.
 

CR’s Most Satisfying Cars list is topped by models that best appropriate everything from comfort and reliability to performance and fuel economy. The list is broken down by category and segment, including cars, minivans, SUVs, and pickup trucks. Among all segments and categories, the 2021 Ford Expedition was the only Blue Oval to make the list.
 

That said, the Expedition isn’t the only Ford-related vehicle to fare well in recent CR surveys. Both the Lincoln Corsair and Aviator recently ranked highly on the list of owners who are most satisfied with their purchase, and the Ford Mustang recently made the list for most reliable sports cars.
 

As successful as the 2021 version of the Expedition has been, there’s plenty of reasons to get excited about the 2022 Expedition as well. Next year’s model is already in the works with revised styling and the addition of Ford’s 3.5L PowerBoost V6 hybrid engine. An updated interior with a newer, larger infotainment screen will be standard as well.
