New Ford Bronco & Maverick Earn North American Utility & Truck Of The Year Award

 

 

Ford’s brand-new 2022 Ford Bronco just earned the 2022 North American Utility of the Year award,  and the new 2022 Ford Maverick took home the 2022 North American Truck of the Year award too. This is the second consecutive year a Ford vehicle has earned recognition from North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year judges, with last year’s best honors going to the F-150 and Mustang Mach-E.

2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Orders Start This Week

 

 

Earlier this week, Ford revealed that it plans to double Ford F-150 Lightning production to 150,000 units every year after the automaker managed 200,000 customer reservations for the new all-electric pickup, an extreme level of demand that took Ford by surprise. Company CEO Jim Farley went on the record to say that he expects a substantial 80 percent of F-150 Lightning reservation customers will convert their reservations into orders, meaning that many customers  are anticipating the beginning of the ordering process, which is slated to begin this week.

All-Electric E-Transit Pilot Vehicles Debut Nationwide

 

 

The all-new 2022 E-Transit is the all-electric version of the country’s best-selling Ford van. It was recently announced that, through a Ford Pro pilot program, companies around the United States, like Penske Truck Leasing and National Grid, are taking deliveries of pre-production E-Transit units with the intent to plan out how they will deploy them when the vehicle comes to market in the first half of 2022.

Ford Prepares for the 2021 SEMA Show with Custom Broncos

The annual SEMA show will be taking place in Las Vegas this November, and Ford will be debuting a lineup of Bronco and Bronco Sport SUVs, all outfitted for different off-roading conditions by some of the leading builders in the off-road industry.
 

At the Ford booth, four custom Broncos and two Bronco Sport SUVs will be displayed. In addition to a selection of aftermarket parts and custom applications, each model will have examples of the growing list of Genuine Ford Parts, Ford Licensed Accessories and Ford Performance Parts.

Ford And LexisNexus Risk Solutions Form Partnership To Help U.S. Drivers Access Vehicle Benefits

 

 

The risk management company, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, and the Ford Motor Company revealed their new strategic partnership in September. Their agreement is based onFord connecting vehicle data that can become available to U.S. auto insurers through the LexisNexis Telematics Exchange. Ford vehicle owners with an eligible 2020 model year or newer can choose to participate in usage-based insurance (UBI) programs, which bring the potential to save customers money with a greater range of individualized insurance options.
