Ford and popular soda brand Dr. Pepper have announced a recent partnership to demonstrate the immense comfort, convenience, and space available in Ford’s latest extra-large SUV, the all-new Ford Expedition. 

With 15 standard cupholders, you’d be hard pressed to find a single package that can fill every one. That’s where Dr. Pepper comes in. In honor of the 2019 Expedition, Dr. Pepper has created an exclusive 15-can pack that offers enough sustenance to quench the thirst of every member of your next tailgate party. 

The recent partnership is an extension of the Expedition’s “Built to Be a Better Big” advertising campaign which launched earlier this year. 

“We’re solving one of Expediton’s last unsolved customer needs what to do with 15 cupholders,” joked Adam Longarzo, Ford Expedition consumer marketing manager. “ We’ve teamed-up with Dr. Pepper to create a 15-pack that puts a drink in each holder and highlights another reason why this is a ‘better big’ vehicle.”

As part of the new promotion, Ford and Dr. Pepper gave away the limited edition 15-packs at the annual University of Texas versus University of Oklahoma college football game, which the Sooners won this past Saturday. 

Last month marked the best year-to-date Expedition sales for the expedition since 2007, with overall sales running 53 percent more than last year. On the back of this success, Expedition has added a slew of upgrades and additions to its lineup. This includes the new King Ranch edition, complete with a signature two-tone exterior paint job, premium Del Rio leather accented interior seating, and of course, 15 cupholders.
