Premium Ford Power Returns

The Ford Explorer is renowned for power, and in 2021, this hasn't changed a bit.

The Ford Explorer didn't become America's best-selling SUV by not keeping up. This awesome ride has always been renowned for power and performance.

This year, the Explorer base, XLT, and Limited trims will feature a 300-horsepower turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder engine under the hood. On the top-spec Platinum trim, you'll get a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 that's capable of producing 356-horsepower. This same engine shoots up to 400-horsepower on the sportier Explorer ST.
